Another view. My second night there, I just went walking. This is at the intersection for Canal Road West and Leighton Street. See the chuck of building jutting out? Hong Kong is out of space, so they add to buildings ON TOP. On Gloucester Road are several car dealerships. Not Honda, Toyota, no no. Romeo, Porsche, Renault, and Maserati. That blue light under the bridge is an ambulance, trapped in traffic. Heaven forbid you ever need one in HK. The construction continues… A very limited view of the Kowloon skyline. Right behind is an opulent office building with still-open, beautiful restaurants and shops…looking out onto this red-drenched building site. More of Causeway Bay. “Small heart” again! A stunning park — where people were doing Tai Chi at 8 pm. Fountains in the park. I so wish I could’ve gotten a better picture of this dragon. A pair of them watched over the park. Even the ads in HK are gorgeous…and over the top. Just so cool. I lost count of the foot reflexology consultations in HK. It’s a thing. This across the street is the Hong Kong Jockey Club. It looks to be an especially fancy bookies, really. The signs sticking out into street are amazing. In the middle of everything…a basketball court. There are no back alleys in Hong Kong. They’re lanes, and they all contain businesses like the main roads. 7-Elevens are everywhere! I’m not kidding, every street! Spread the word:TweetMoreEmailLike this:Like Loading...
