Crew: Meet Dante Sutton
Dante is a camera operator, DP, and producer around and about Edmonton. He was assistant camera on Nowhere Normal, and thanks to him, we were able to film on a beautiful Arri Alexa. He’s most interested in commercials *hint*.
Crew: Meet David Gallinger
David was Nowhere Normal‘s king of audio, both recording and operating the boom. Professional, and prompt, David’s just cool to have on set.

Nowhere Normal has been selected to be screened at the 4th Dimension Independent Film Festival, running from September 26-30, 2022, in Bali, Indonesia!
This will be our little, Canadian short’s world premiere!

Marlon was Nowhere Normal‘s lighting master, although he and our AD reportedly sparred over who spotted continuity errors first.
Crew: Meet Brenda LePage
Brenda was…everything on Nowhere Normal. Locations manager, PA, security, and script coordinator. She’s credited as Assistant Director on this film, but that doesn’t express how this film would not have happened without her. Oh, she’s a screenwriter too, and we hope she doesn’t forget our little crew now that she’s had a script optioned in Los Angeles (!)
Crew: Meet Molly Rasmussen
Molly usually does hair and makeup for horror, so Nowhere Normal was an easy gig. She only had to throw cocoa powder, icing sugar, and pasta all over one of the actors.
Crew: Meet Lee Conrad
Lee is a committed, experienced filmmaker wearing many hats. On Nowhere Normal, he was the storyboard artist, editor, and grip! We were very lucky to have him.
Crew: Faith Tabladillo
Faith was the production design assistant on Nowhere Normal. Since high school, Faith has worked at indie shoots around the city of Edmonton, from camera work to background acting. Other than working on union and non-union shows in the location department, her recent contributions include DIT for a Francophone series (Les Productions FP 3 Inc.), audio engineer for Indigenous podcast Herstory (Good Influence Films), assistant director for The 39 Steps (Walterdale Theatre), and film/video productions related to production design. Currently, she works as a marketing coordinator and video editor for various clients.
