The Lift-Off Global Network is a series of online and in-person film festival worldwide, and Nowhere Normal has been selected to participate in the 2023 Toronto Festival!
AND, audiences as well as a jury will decide on the festival’s best films. Stay tuned for how to catch its online screenings and vote for Nowhere Normal!
You have TWO chances to catch our short film Nowhere Normal in the next few weeks!
First will be right here! Watch all of Take a Bite Productions’ short films online, starting at 2 pm on May 28. Zoom link will be available this Friday, May 26.
Second, Nowhere Normal will be part of NextFest 2023 at the Roxy Theatre! Check the film schedule!

First: Nowhere Normal will be screened in Edmonton this June! It will be part of a Local Heroes community screening, put on by the Edmonton Short Film Festival. Stay tuned for details. You can get a preview at the virtual screening in May, details here.
Second: as you can see above, playwright Heather Morrow will herself be reading from her own play Alex and Michael and Hannah, which is a finalist for the Writers’ Guild of Alberta’s drama award. Come and support all the finalist writers that day.

Please join us for a virtual screening of Nowhere Normal at 2 pm on May 28, 2023.
The screening will include not only Nowhere Normal, but all the short films of our producer, Heather Morrow.
Janine Waddell, the director of our second short film Reasons I Hate Being Single, and producer screenwriter Heather, will attend!
The screening is free, though we’ll be accepting generous donations towards Reasons.
