TWO THINGS about our Easter chocolate fundraiser:
1. The website to order chocolate is very confusing. Some supporters have said that the amount of information required makes it look like THEY’RE setting up a campaign! The site asks for addresses and such in case WE need to deliver to YOU on April 7, and it asks you to create a password in case you want to come back and order more. If you’re still not sure about buying off the Purdy’s website, we have an alternative event coming up.
2. Take a Bite’s short film Nowhere Normal isn’t available to the general public yet, because it’s still on the festival circuit.
However, any supporters of our first fundraiser will receive an invitation to our upcoming virtual screening…for FREE.
So click here to get your Easter shopping done, and get VIP access to Nowhere Normal early!
You have one more day to catch Nowhere Normal on Beyond the Curve‘s website. Check it and all September’s winners to support indie film!
Here it is!
From today until Sunday, October 23, you can watch Nowhere Normal anywhere you like, via Beyond the Curve’s screening website. Just click here.
We hope you enjoy it!

Nowhere Normal‘s in-person world premiere will be at the New York City Short Comedy Film Festival !
To be selected by a festival focused on comedy, and in New York, NY, is a huge honour and assures us that, yes, the film is funny!
Should any fans be in New York, here is where to buy tickets. Nowhere Normal will be part of “Comedy Session 4”, starting at 6 pm on November 20, 2022.
The owner of the house where Nowhere Normal was shot is Jessie McKitrick, who is a knitwear designer. She recently wrote an article about Nowhere Normal for Digital Threads, here!
Matt Kloster is an actor and director with a BA and BFA in Theatre from the University of Alberta. He is never more at home than when working with a crew of professional multidisciplinary artists. After a brief excursion into the Digital Cinema program at NAIT, he is trying his hand at directing for film. He loves working with actors, and is always hungry for new challenges. Matt is grateful for the opportunity to work on Take A Bite’s Nowhere Normal with this fabulous cast and crew.
